Executive Assistant to Entrepreneur

Location: Kimberley BC 

Type: In-Person mandatory for at least the first 12 months, then hybrid work is possible.

Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (Negotiable)

Is deeply curious and obsessed with personal growth.

Can handle details without losing the bigger picture.

Is comfortable with digital tools, or able to grasp new ones quickly (Gmail, Google Calendar, Instagram, QuickBooks, Asana, etc).

Understands content creation even if you’re not a full-time creator. We have a strong focus on YouTube with Instagram / as a distant second.

Who we are:

You will be working directly with Mark Taylor, and marketing nerd and entrepreneur. Started as the founder of Make Your Mark Today inc. we quickly grew multiple brands to multi 7 figures using high intent marketing, SEO & SEM with a heavy focus on YouTube video optimization as the content marketing foundation. Recently we rebranded to Autogrowth Academy which is our educational community for entrepreneurs to kickstart their marketing so they can grow their business to be able to afford our done for you marketing services.

Mark has a Canadian personal finance YouTube channel (money with Mark) and his business YouTube channel (Mark Taylor). We also work closely with our #1 client, my wife, Hilary Angrove and her business Angrove Law.

Our business right now is 80% done for you marketing services. And 20% comes from Money With Mark brand. 

Our current goal is to get to 90% Autogrowth Academy and 10% client services.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

You’re not just an assistant. You’re the protector of my time and brain. You’ll be the gatekeeper who ensures I spend more time in my “CEO Zone” (Growing the business), not buried in admin.

Your role includes:

• Managing my email and calendar like it’s your business. I don’t control these, you do.
• Removing all admin tasks from my plate.
• Creating, refining, and documenting systems you, and our team uses daily.

Examples of Day-to-Day Tasks:

• DM’ing new followers on Instagram using scripts or voice notes.
• Publishing short-form video content to Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Turning inbound emails into tasks in Asana — and assigning them to the right team member.
• Making quick edits to client Google Ads campaigns (we’ll train you on this & everything outlined here).
• Executing small & medium marketing tasks for clients when needed.
• Booking podcasts, travel, and event accommodations.
• Researching locations, tools, or services (ex: best Airbnbs in Lisbon, podcast mics, course platforms).
• Commenting and engaging with creators on YouTube and Instagram.
• Coordinating YouTube collabs and outreach.
• Creating and posting carousel posts on Instagram.
• Feeding structured info into our internal custom GPTs.
• Researching niche data, software, or industries as needed.
